This notice explains which cookies and similar technologies Memory Box uses and how you can control them. It complements the Privacy Policy (https://memory-box.family/en/privacy).
1. What these technologies are
Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. Similar technologies work the same way: local storage in the browser, and identifiers or software components (SDKs) in a mobile app. We call all of them "cookies" here. Under article 399 of the Polish Electronic Communications Law (implementing article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive), we may store or read information on your device without consent only when it is strictly necessary for a service you asked for; for everything else we need your consent.
2. Which cookies we use
- Strictly necessary – keep you signed in, protect the Service from abuse, remember your choices about cookies and your language. They are used without consent, because the Service cannot work without them.
We do not use cookies for advertising.

4. Your choices
Because we use only strictly necessary cookies, we do not ask for consent. You can always delete or block cookies in your browser settings, but the Service may then stop working correctly (for example you may be signed out).
5. In the mobile app
The app does not use browser cookies, but it uses equivalent identifiers and SDKs on your device, under the same rules: necessary ones without consent, others only with your consent (Profile → Privacy and data → Consents and withdrawal). The app does not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
